ARINC 818
ARINC 818 is the industry standard for high-speed digital video and audio transmission over fiber-optic cables, enabling multiple streams of digital data while maintaining high picture and sound quality.
FRAME GRABBER & VIDEO GENERATORS
We currently offer four series of ARINC 818 cards:Velocity XI,Velocity Plus,Velocity XMC and Velocity PXIe. The functionality of all series is similar, with the main differences being the form factor and maximum link rate.
VIDEO CONVERTERS
ARINC 818 converter modules offer the flexibility to convert video to or from ARINC 818 in a variety of video formats such as DVI, RS-170, STANEG 3350, HD-SDI, and VGA. The products include the SAM G3, SAM G3 XI, and Helios for lab use, and both embedded and stand-alone products for flight in both commercial and military applications.
LAB USE
This is the portable converter module that converts ARINC 818 to/from HDMI, allowing you to view ARINC 818 video on a standard computer monitor, or transfer live video from a graphics card onto ARINC 818.
FLIGHT USE
Its a rugged, flyable video conversion and switching module designed for modern mission systems
ARINC 818 IP CORE
We are provides an easy way to implement ARINC 818-compliant interfaces in many common FPGAs. The core pairs with the high-speed serial tiles of the FPGA (e.g., GX or GT tiles) to achieve ARINC 818 interfaces up to 10.0 Gbps. The core can be used for transmit only, receive only, or for transmit and receive applications.
VIDEO & PROTOCOL ANALYZER
The VPA is an ARINC 818 analyzer in a complete system and is an essential tool for the ARINC 818 design engineer. It is a PC, card, and software that captures ARINC 818 video and provides a complete analysis at multiple levels: byte, FC frame, video line, and video frame. It also evaluates line and frame timing. Unlike FC analyzers, the VPA is video- and ARINC 818–centric.

ARINC 818 SWITCH
ARINC 818 switch products: 4x4 and 10x10 units. Both support multiple operations: switching, splitting, or broadcasting. All include “smart switching,” which ensures that no video frame is broken or corrupted.
